Especially enjoyed the chorizo picante con cabrales (came back the next day again) and got very lucky to try the first batch of fresh & warm torrijas (usually cold...came back for torrijas with wine) made on Ash Wednesday! We also got a quick pork meat cuts and Sherry wine masterclass with Elio! You will never see the typical Iberian ham shops and wine shops around Andalusia region the same after this! What happens if it rains?
The tour runs rain or shine! Most of our stops are indoors at cozy bars, so rain actually adds to the atmosphere. We only cancel in extreme weather conditions, in which case you'll receive a full refund.
Is the tour available in languages other than English?
Our main tours are in English, but Elio is also fluent in Spanish. For private tours, we can arrange guides in other languages — just ask!
How much walking is involved?
We walk about 2 km total at a leisurely pace through flat streets. The tour is accessible for most fitness levels. If you have mobility concerns, please contact us and we'll accommodate you.
Can children join the tour?
Kids are welcome! Children under 10 join for free. We'll make sure there are kid-friendly food options at every stop. Non-alcoholic drinks are available too.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel for free up to 24 hours before the tour. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable, but you can reschedule to another date subject to availability.
How many people are in each group?
We keep our groups small — maximum 8 people from Monday to Thursday, and 6 on Fridays and Saturdays. This way, Elio can give everyone personal attention, and the experience feels more like going out with friends than a typical tour.
